Litterally Divine Toffee and Truffles was founded by Suzanne Litteral, a classically trained dancer who has an exuberant passion for high quality chocolate. She started hand-crafting her confections in the mid-1990's, giving them as gifts to close friends and family. With these creations she now shares with you, Suzanne captures her deepest artistic expression, as though she were creating a full-scale ballet of chocolate bliss.
We handcraft our chocolates in small batches, using only the finest all natural ingredients. Whenever possible, we go organic. Also, as our local economy and culture are important to us, we incorporate locally made and grown ingredients whenever we can. We avoid anything artificial- no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. We do all of this so we can make an indulgent treat you can feel good about eating.
Suzanne realized in the beginning that there are many people with either lactose intolerance issues or dairy allergies. Knowing there weren't very many sweet options available to these folks, she began experimenting and came up with some dairy free recipes. Using plant based ingredients, such as almond milk and coconut oil, she created a line chocolates, including truffles, toffees, and caramels. These treats contain no animal products, so all vegans can enjoy them. But you don't have to be vegan to discover how delicious they are.
